Marbles.

Marbles. Yes, those marbles. Have I lost them? It might be entirely possible, but I might just be a believer now.

Go ahead and judge me. It is quite alright.

Sometimes I surprise myself.

I did a thing. Not only did I do that thing, but I did that thing twice..in two days. It was only right to make it come closer to a valid experiment. You know, science and all that because I am, uh, a scientist. But it was more than that. I was terribly curious. And have always wanted to do this. Ever since I was little and watched Animal Planet all the time. I was that kid. I never thought I would actually do it though.

What was it you ask?

I don’t really even want to tell you, but I am going to. I can’t not! Lovely grammar I know. I have not told anyone, so everyone is going to find out at the same time.

Have I built it up enough? Shall I do more?

No? OK.

Well, I was speaking with Anne from over at HorseAddict about Lito and this phase he is going through.

She mentioned using an animal communicator as she has used one in the past with her horse.

I thought to myself, “Heck. Why not.” And by thought to myself, I did not really…I just contacted a couple after doing a little bit of research.

Now, I do not really know what all this is about and I did it mostly because I was curious what would happen. I have read several reports of people who wholeheartedly believe in this stuff and swear up and down that it makes a difference. I even know a person who has done it before and I think was on the news or one of those Animal Planet shows. I do not think she believed it though.

I will present the conversations and let you be the judge. I will say I am intrigued, to say the least.

Do I believe it? I am not quite sure. Is it a bit out there past hippie dippie? Sure. But I have some hippie dippie in me, so, you know.

But I want to know something first. Have any of you used an animal communicator before? Or anything like that? Do you believe in ghosts? Seen an angel? Even a Ouija board. Those always creeped me out as a kid. Heck, even now!

So. Share your story! Check back later this week to read mine!

Walk in love, dear readers!

It just got real interesting!

  1. You mean like a pet psychic?

I’m honestly not sure what to think of that, though I recall seeing something on Animal Planet, too (perhaps the same stuff you saw?)

There are some people I know who might borderline qualify for “animal communicator”, but they would deny being one. Like the lady who taught me how to ride Icelandics. She’s almost eerily good at matching people with horses, and you can bring her just about any equine, she’ll figure them out sooner or later (usually sooner).

But from her point of view, there’s nothing psychic about it. Just observation, experience, and “vibes”. The vibes are what we get and interpret instinctively from other humans, 99% of the time subconsciously. Some people are just better at it than others, and them some of those can elevate it to a conscious level.
I suppose it also helps that she doesn’t look at horses as dumb, instinct-driven animals but self-aware beings who just think and act differently.

Fascinating post though, I eagerly await the followup!

PS: Do you believe in ghosts? Seen an angel? Even a Ouija board.
    Nope, nope and nope 😋
Seen and experienced weird and inexplicable stuff, but refused to jump to conclusions. Could have been either, or none of the above, or a micro wormhole spontaneously bouncing about. Or misfiring neurons. Or a weather phenomenon. Or…

    1. Thank you for your comment! Yes, a pet psychic I guess. I whole heartedly agree with and believe what you said!

I do believe in angels <3

  2. I set my marbles free long ago- they are running wild in the woods. 😁
I have had experiences with my own animals that have made me wonder. I am sceptical that a person miles away can figure out which animal to talk to. But I try to keep an open mind and I am looking forward to hearing your experiences.

  3. I have a person who does Reiki on horses. She is also a communicator. I find it very interesting to know what my horse is thinking and to be able to send messages back through her to him. I do believe in ghosts or presences. I used to live in England and there was a ghost in my house. Not at all threatening. The house was old and no doubt people had died in the house. This person , a man, would appear with a book at the end of my bed. I had a friend who was more in tune with these things and told me that the presence had read to someone who had died in that room. He was a caring soul and that he would look after me and no harm would come tome while I lived in that house. That proved to be true. In England a lot of people believe in ghosts and I think it is because it is a much older country than the US or Canada. There are bound to be ghosts or presences around.

MMmmmmmk… I think I’m too much of a realist to spend money on something like this. I also believe that no one knows your horse better than you! No judgement, but I’m not a believer.

And I do not believe in ghosts. And I don’t believe in Ouija boards. HOWEVER. I do absolutely believe that if someone summoned evil spirits, they would certainly have access to Satan and his underlings. So, I do not feel like things like that are to be taken lightly.

I have not seen an angel, but I know someone who has! I believe with everything in me that they are all around.
