Great Reads

So. You know how I shared with you my urge the other day?

Well, a friend of mine asked if I would be so kind as to share the reading list that Pat Parelli shared with me of influential books he has read that have helped him in various parts of his life.

Great idea, I know! Thanks, M!

Her wish is my command! I decided to share it here in case anyone else was curious about the reads on that list.

Please enjoy the following recommendations…with a few of my own additions.

  1. What a great list! My addition would be: Wind, Sand and Stars, by Antoine De Saint-Exupery, (the same author as The Little Prince, another great read).

Also my teenage favorite book, Kinship with All Life, by J. Allen Boone :)) Dawn

  2. A Street Cat Named Bob by James Bowen. This is the true story of a recovering addict who rescues an injured street cat and the cat rescues him. If you have not read this book do get it. I have given about ten copies to friends and they have loved it and passed it on to others. It seems to speak to people of all ages and stages.

  3. Rocking E Cowgirl

I have a terrible aversion to nonfiction/self-help/motivational books! I don’t know what the deal is! I read everyday, but usually just fluffy mystery series. Maybe I need to force myself to widen my book list…
